Landscape Architecture (ISSN 1673-1530; CN 11-5366/S), one of the most important publications in the field of landscape architecture in China, is administered by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China and sponsored by Beijing Forestry University. It is published on the 10th of every month by Beijing Landscape Architecture Journal Periodical Office Co., Ltd.
Journal History
Founded in 1993, the journal was formerly known as Landscape Architecture Transactions, and it was renamed Landscape Architecture in 2001. It has been distributed and published worldwide since 2005. The founding Editor-in-Chief is Prof. WANG Xiangrong, and the current Editor-in-Chief is Prof. ZHENG Xi. The readers of the journal are mainly researchers, technical managers, and architects in landscape architecture and related fields, as well as university professors and students majoring in such fields.
Aims
Focusing on the theory and practice of landscape architecture planning and design, the journal aims to promote academic exchange and communication within the community by publishing professional, practical, academic, and humanistic articles in related and interdisciplinary fields.
Scope of Research
The journal publishes academic articles on the modern history, planning and design, and environmental science and technology of landscape architecture; concepts and proposals for landscape and urban design; and completed works of landscape design and public art from around the world.
Indexing & Abstracting
The journal has been selected as a Core Journal of China, a Source Journal for Chinese Scientific and Technical Papers and Citations, evaluated as T3 Level Journals in High-quality Science and Technology Journal Classification Directory in the Field of Architectural Science, evaluated as a core journal in the "Evaluation Report of Chinese Academic Journals (RCCSE) (2023)", classified as an A-class journal in the "China Agricultural and Forestry Core Journals" (2024 edition), and recognized as an expanded journal in the "Comprehensive Evaluation Report of Chinese Humanities and Social Sciences Journals (AMI) (2022)".
