Information Extraction and Feature Analysis of Urban Spatial Form in Shijiazhuang

通过城市空间形态研究,可以发现城市化过程中存在的问题,有效地调控城市的扩展速度和方向。为探索石家庄城市发展的特征与规律,基于2000~2018年长时间序列“类NPP-VIIRS”夜间灯光数据,采用突变检测法提取石家庄城市空间形态信息,并辅以全球城市边界(GUB)数据,开展其时空特征分析研究。结果表明:2000~2018年19 a间石家庄市的城市夜光边界区域面积由103 km2扩展到332 km2,石家庄城市夜光边界扩展方向以正东、正北方向为主;从空间形态上来看,石家庄城市夜光边界紧凑程度较高,边界较为简单。2000年和2018年石家庄城市夜光边界与GUB城市边界在主城区内扩展趋势一致,城市重心同趋势迁移,但空间形态的离散复杂程度不尽相同。总体来看,石家庄城市空间扩展过程受政府决策影响明显,不断向外扩张延伸,属于“外延式”发展模式。

Through research on urban spatial morphology, it is possible to identify problems in the process of urbanization and effectively regulate the speed and direction of urban expansion. To explore the characteristics and patterns of urban development, this paper extracted the urban spatial form information of Shijiazhuang by mutation detection method based on the 2000~2018 long time series NPP-VIIRS-Like Nighttime Light Data, and analyzed its spatial and temporal characteristics with the help of Global Urban Boundary data. The results show that the area of urban luminous boundary area in Shijiazhuang expanded from 103km2 to 332km2 during the 19 years from 2000 to 2018. In terms of direction, the expansion direction of urban luminous boundary in Shijiazhuang is mainly east and north. From the perspective of spatial morphology, the luminous boundary of Shijiazhuang is relatively compact and simple. In 2000 and 2018, the urban luminous boundary of Shijiazhuang and the urban boundary of GUB have the same expansion trend in the main urban area, the urban center of gravity has the same trend of migration, and the discrete complexity of spatial morphology is different. Overall, the spatial expansion process of Shijiazhuang city is clearly influenced by government decision-making, constantly extending outward, and belongs to an “outward-oriented” development model.
